The scripture says that the gifts are distributed individually as he (the holy spirit) wills. it does not say the gifts are distributed as we will. we are commanded to earnestly desire the best spiritual gifts (1 corinthians 12:31), but that does not mean that we will get all the gifts we want. For he has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels. For he will not speak on his own initiative, but whatever he hears, he will speak;

The holy spirit is god, the third person of the holy trinity. 11 but christ came as high priest of qthe good things 3to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.
